Hi Everyone at Stuart Hall,

Just a short note to say how much I enjoyed the holiday, even though it’s taken me a week to recover!​ I rode most days with one of the medium pace groups which seemed to suit my ability and requirements. After 3 fairly long rides I dropped down to Sam’s ride for 1 day and appreciated the slightly easier pace. All the leaders were very helpful and road knowledge was excellent. I have been going to Mallorca for the last 10 years and they still managed to find lots of lanes I hadn’t come across.
The hotel was very good with an excellent choice of food, although taking the bike through the hotel to the room was something new as all other hotels I’ve stayed at have had secure and equipped underground garages. I wondered how non cycling guests viewed this. All in all, I thought it very well organised and the transfers were very smooth.
I’m not sure if you have contacted my room mate, Michael, but if not, I know that he would have similar comments. If our ageing bodies hold up until next October, I’m sure you’ll be seeing us again.
