Hi Helen, just a quick note regarding the Corsica trip. I had a great time, the routes were great along with the hotels and general organisation. Some sections of road surfsces were a bit rough, but other those, there were also some superb sections and the weather held out for most of us. The views throughout were amazing. Wayne and Ian did a great job of getting us organised and being where they said they'd be at the right times. Good guys in general and both very good up hills 🚲🚴‍♀️! They really made the week go well. As a group, there wasn't such a massive difference between abilities so it was nice to cycle with various other clients during the week. Please pass regards on to Wayne and Ian. Great week, thanks again.

Thank you for the wonderful cycling trip to Corsica. We had a fabulous time. The routes were incredible, we met some amazing people and Ian and Wayne were great. It was so nice to be picked up and dropped off at airport and to have everything taken care off. I really appreciated the vegetarian meal option too. So often I have to worry on cycling trips about getting a vegetarian meal and so it was so good to not worry about it.

Hi Team, Many thanks for an awesome trip to Corsica, I’ve had an epic week with some great company and the island itself is stunning. Ian and Wayne were brilliant guides and support, they have a relaxed and friendly approach which made for a fun atmosphere and everything ran very smoothly. They were also on hand quickly to assist with the 2 sets of double punctures I had. Even the hire bike was great and only needed a few minor tweaks to fit. I understand Helen had a hand in arranging the meals and hotels, thank you Helen, food was great every night and there was plenty to eat. The only observation if at all possible is to ask all the hotels to provide oats, muesli or granola for breakfast but that really is a finer detail. The routes were challenging (for a big lad) but achievable and the scenery was stunning. Stops were discussed before we set off and Ian and Wayne couldn’t have picked better lunch stops. Good hotels, plenty to eat, well organised and the cycling was amazing. Thank you. Look forward to seeing you on October. Lee

Completed the Raid Pyrenees last week. Solo traveller and first time using the company. Well organised, good hotels, cracking food. Stuart, Ian, Wayne and Joe did a fantastic job. Epic challenge with legendary Tour de France climbs. A must on any cyclists bucket list. Met a great bunch of cyclists on the trip to share the experience. Used the cycle hire which took the stress away of getting my own bike to the start and back home. Nice bikes with ideal gearing for the Mountains. Had no mechanical breakdowns and not even a puncture (which was a bonus). Will use the company again. Charlie

The rolling buffet and water stops were always at hand and big thanks to Oliver for his mechanical assistance (and brake pad replacement tutoring session 😄). Hi Stuart & Helen, Wow! - What an amazing trip from Geneva to Nice The most stunning scenery I've ever had the pleasure to cycle in with fantastic support from Ian, Oliver & Stuart. Challenging but enjoyable routes, simply amazing climbs & silky smooth descents without the need to dodge potholes! Lovely hotels, great food and good banter, what more could you ask for? Please pass on my thanks to Ian, Oliver and Stuart for all their support and lots of cold water! during the trip . Everything was perfect, yes air-con in the hotels would've been nice due to the heat but didn't spoil it. Will definitely be back for another trip next year 🙂

The Picos Tour was excellent, and ridden on scenic back roads amidst a stunning mountain landscape. There were climbs aplenty. No one went home unsatisfied with the route selection. The two iconic climbs, the Angrilu and the Covadonga, were well worth the effort expended, both requiring mental and physical stamina. As for the crew, Helen and Ian and Ray were knowledgeable, helpful, cheery, flexible, and accommodating. My fellow riders were friendly and good humoured, patient, and considerate. All ingredients for a successful Tour. The hotels were comfortable and the food was satisfying and filling. I will always remember that last meal in Tina de Pechon - tasty and filling; and, the roast beef sizzling on the ceramic plate coupled with the fresh baked bread were both mouth watering and a feast for the eye. The bean soup appetizer was tasty, too. Delicious. A most enjoyable Tour but certainly one that requires a high level of fitness, and youth. Best regards, Harold

Hi, just to let you know how much I enjoyed the Spanish Raid Pyrenees. The weather was great even though it was too hot on a couple of days which didn't last as it rained on the last day into San Sebastian! Ian and Ray were great too. Ian was just the same as usual and Ray very helpful and a good guide. The main road sections spoilt the route a little but I guess that's because of a lack of suitable roads on the Spanish side. The gorge road was stunning though. The hotel at Jaca I thought was a bit lacking and the restaurant meal there not as good as the others but otherwise a great trip. I think I enjoyed this trip the most of the three I have done. It seemed a bit more "relaxed" even though the days were long and hard. As I said last year keep doing what you do. Corsica looks good for next year or even the Piccos. Best Regards Richard

Hi there, I've just returned from trips with you to the Dolomites and the Stelvio. Both were superb. The rides were hard, but I was expecting that. The organisation was excellent. Wayne and Jaele were fabulous. They looked after us brilliantly, and were always in the right place to support us on the climbs. Each week, they fostered a team spirit that converted us from a disparate set of customers into a cohesive group. Their communication was clear. We always knew exactly what was happening, even as circumstances caused plans to change en route. They worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was in place for each ride. And they made the whole experience fun. Jaele has a real talent for making videos! The hotels were great, if very different. They worked perfectly for both weeks. The hotel in the Dolomites was comfortable, and the staff were very engaging and helpful. The Stelvio hotel was an up-market experience. Very comfortable, with super rooms and with great facilities. The half board option was definitely the right choice for me, after a hard day riding. Thanks to the whole team for organising a great trip.

Thanks for your company everyone both in and off the road - a very enjoyable week with new anecdotes to add to our cycling memories. Dear Stuart and Helen, I really enjoyed my Stelvio trip in June and have nothing but praise for the support we got from your staff, the hotel and your other guests. A trip like that quickly produces a real team spirit - it was a good crowd. For an older chap like myself, getting to the top of Mortirolo felt like a proper achievement and the encouragement from everyone else helped give me the confidence to take it on and get there. Having just completed the Raid Pyrenees, I have nothing but praise, respect and admiration for the entire team, making this the most memorable and enjoyable week of cycling in 20 years. Stuarts experience, character and advice, along with his superb team of guides and masseurs, along the best traffic free routes, between fantastic hotels on superb bikes , made for an absolutely outstanding adventure, second to none. There's nothing I could change or comment on to enhance the experience. The commeraderie between 13 previously unknowns to each other also added to make for a sensational trip. I am so grateful, and can't thank Stuart enough, I can only hope this trip is the beginning, not the end..Top job to all involved, it surpassed all expectations on every count, not just well worth the money, but the best £1500 I can remember spending...Thankyou.

Hi Stuart! I came back to Canada this past week from my month trip in Spain! Just wanted to tell you how much I loved my first 8 days of the month cycling with you guys in Majorque! The hotel, the food, the rides, everything was perfect!! English immersion was also great for me! We don’t get to speak English much here in Quebec City!! A special thanks to you Stuart for noticing there was something wrong with my bike on the very first day during the ride and making sure I had a different one ready for the next day! It was perfect!! Thank you for the great memories!!

Last month (April 2024), I spent a week cycling with Stuart Hall in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca. It was my second trip following a great holiday in Palma on the south of the island in early 2023. I had a wonderful stay in a great hotel, did some fantastic well-planned rides led by excellent guides and met lots of friendly people. 100% recommended

Hi Stuart, It was a great holiday and I’m certainly planning to be back next year. The hotel and location were perfect. The staff in the hotel were really friendly and helpful; the rooms very clean and spacious and the food was fab. It’s the first time that I have been to Mallorca, although I have cycled in many countries. The island is perfect for cycling and in particular for training. I went out with the fast group led by Marcus and with Oliver as sweeper. Marcus went like a train on the front all day and it was certainly the training experience I was seeking. Next year I’ll organise a training camp for the training camp though! I heard one or two grumbles from people who got dropped from that group. At the end of the day, getting shelled out the back is something that can happen to us all sometimes, so I wouldn’t change a thing. We can always choose to join one of the other rides. Big thank you to you and your team for organising it really well. It was very straightforward. And a particularly big thank you to Marcus and Oliver for towing me around all week.

Dear Helen and Stuart, Just a short note to thank you and your team for the cycling holiday I’ve enjoyed this past 5-days. The Dream hirebike on which I rode nearly 500km was set up perfectly first time by Wayne. The gearing was spot on and it was well balanced on some fast descents. Being a short, fairly small woman I (and my shoulders/upper back!) really appreciated the narrower handlebars - unusual from my previous experience of road bike hire. The medium/steady rides were great and your guides knowledgeable and friendly. I also enjoyed meeting and riding with fellow guests Catherine, Gill and Jane. The hotel was good value and in a great location. Hope to be back out with you again within the next year!

Hi Stuart/Helen, Just returned from my third trip cycling with you and wanted to say thank you for another fab week. Didn’t cycle with you Stuart but did with Helen for a couple of rides including Wednesday when I wasn’t sure the rides would head out. Thanks Helen for choosing a safe route and stopping for coffee. I also wanted to recognise Bart and Ian who fixed my pxxtures (despite tyres being newish) - both are fab ride leaders for you and represent the organisation well. I’m sure I’ll be back again soon

Thanks to all, the week is a great time, the hotel is good and the fact that there are hire bikes on-site is a major benefit. The guides were great and I think there are more guides than when I came 6 years ago.

I had a fantastic trip ! I really enjoyed the whole week - the cycling, the hotel and the people. Tiime with like minded folk was inspirational and a great talking point each evening at dinner. I went to Mallorca with the intension to give it a go and by day two I couldn't resist the challenge of progressing to the 'faster' group ! It was so well ran, the group were all supportive and encouraging and I ended the week cycling every day except one. Back home I am aiming to keep the mileage up - in between the rain ! Literally it hasn't stopped raining since I have been back home. Looking forward to heading out again, Malloraca or perhaps somewhere new. Thanks to Stuart and the team.

Hi Helen, A massive thank you to you and the team for a truly wonderful five days- cycling 500k! I have been to the island before but this was a very special trip. A lovely mix of rides to choose from. The hotel catered very well for our needs and the Stuart hall team super friendly and helpful at all times, on and off the rides. it’s the small things that count like remembering your name and checking you had a good day! I definitely spent less time looking up where I was going and more time riding this trip! I can’t wait to come back to the island with you.

Can’t recommend Stuart Hall Cycling Holidays Enough………. I’ve been going to Stuart’s Majorca Training Camp for years and it just keeps getting better. The cycling has always been first class but the hotel accommodation keeps on improving. This March, 2024, I went with a group of 10, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Stuart and his highly experienced team, totally understand what’s important and cater from the inexperienced cyclist to the Pros. You don’t have to worry about a thing, they have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble. From the minute you get to Palma airport you are looked after by the team. The hotel has great spa facilities all included, the food is excellent and many of the dishes are cooked to order. For a very small cost before travelling, you can upgrade to full board, definitely worth it, the whole package is exceptional value. I’m looking forward to my next trip as are several others in the group. Many thanks.

Thanks Stuart. It was my first ever cycling holidays and I am so glad I did it. Really well organised with multiple rides each day. Hotel was fantastic for a cycling holiday with spa. Great knowledgeable staff and support all through. Really enjoyed every bit of it. Would highly recommend it to anyone interested in cycling. Hope I can get home permission for another such week of fun with Stuart Hall cycling soon.

I have just returned from a 2 week Stuart Hall Spring training camp. This was my 2nd Stu Hall camp and it again exceeded my expectations. The camps represent superb value for money. Hotel Playa Mar in particular was a superb base. Plentiful good food, superb apartment rooms and a very good wellness area. The rides were well tailored to different ability groups & the routes were all incredible. My 2 week camp has confirmed to me tgat Mallorca is hard to beat as a cycling destination. I spent 4 nights at the Palma base & then rode to Puerto Pollensa with my group & spent a further 10 days at the Playa Mar. I went in need of improving my fitness and Stu Halls team made sure I did with challenging rides at achievable paces. I will be going again & cannot reccomend the holidays more!

A big thank you to both of you and your amazing team, who made my first trip with Stuart Hall Cycling such a memorable experience. Everyone is so polite, friendly and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful, with stunning walks. Ian is in his element out on his bike each day. I look forward to seeing you both next year when Ian and I return for the Spring season. I recently brought our son to Mallorca for a few days of cycling with Stuart Hall and it was fantastic! Having previously only cycled around our neighbourhood in London on his hybrid bike with flat pedals, he clipped in and did a 30 km introductory ride on Day 1 and a 100km ride on Day 2. Our ride leaders looked after us well and we both loved it. We hired bikes as were only there for a short visit and they were great (full carbon, Specialized, perfect condition). The Hotel Occidental Playa de Palma was ideal for its location near the airport, beach and local restaurants. An added bonus that made it feel all-the-more authentic was that some of the Lidl-Trek riders were staying there as well. Great cycling for various levels, excellent company and a top trip all-around … highly recommend and will return again soon.
