As the spring progresses, we move to Puerto Pollensa in the north of the island. We will be based at the Playa Mar and Mar Senses hotels, luxury spa aparthotels in Puerto Pollensa that we have used for several years now with excellent feedback.
Arrival and departure dates are completely flexible and you can join us for as many or as few days as you like. Typically riders come for around 7-10 days but some come just for a long weekend and many stay as long as 3 weeks or more.
Mallorca 312 Packages Available
We can arrange guaranteed entry to the 2018 Mallorca 312 sportive – our packages include event entry, accommodation and airport transfers. Book Now!
*The Mallorcan Tourist Tax has been increased in 2018 to €3 per night for 4* hotels. This is not included in our prices and is payable directly to the hotel on arrival.
**Please note that flight arrivals scheduled to land after midnight and flight departures scheduled to leave before 08:00 will incur an £80 surcharge (per person, per transfer) unless we are able to use the national shuttle service for the transfer. Where the shuttle is a possibility, we will provide you with the option to choose which you prefer on booking. For delayed flight arrivals, provided your flight is scheduled to land before midnight, there will be no extra charge.
The Playa Mar and Mar Senses are aparthotels which means that the rooms are small apartments – each has a bedroom with twin beds, a bathroom, small kitchenette (including sink, microwave, kettle, fridge and hob) and living room with a sofa-bed. It is therefore possible for up to 3 people to share an apartment, and if two people share, they have the option of sleeping in separate rooms.
Our popular fleet of hire bikes will be available again in 2018, at some great prices. For more information on our bikes, please see the bike hire page.
The number of rides available each day varies depending on the number of cyclists, but typically includes at least a fast, intermediate and slower ride.
The faster groups tend to average 80-100 miles per day at 19-21 mph, and the vast majority of rides will include a cafe stop.
The intermediate groups usually do 60-80 miles per day (with at least one cafe stop) while the slightly shorter rides provide a more relaxed option covering 50-60 miles a day with a couple of cafe stops.
For those that have been before, you’ll know that we tend to stick to the fantastic back roads where we can, enabling you to really get the feel for Mallorca whilst improving your fitness and condition.
Riders are free to choose whichever group they think suits their fitness and ability – and you can change groups daily if you wish. On some days the groups will meet at a cafe for lunch, giving you the option to go out with one group and then return to the hotel with another.
If there is something that you would like to do to fit in with a particular training programme, we will do our best to accommodate this, although obviously it will not always be possible.
For some examples of typical routes we use, please see our Mallorca Routes.
Please think carefully about the group you choose to go out with as it can often be longer and more difficult than you expect. We reserve the right to ask you to turn back if we feel you are not fit or capable enough to ride with the group you choose.
We always wait for people who puncture, however so as not to slow the rides down we do expect people to have their bikes in good working order with good tyres, two spare inner tubes and a pump that works.
Calendar permitting, we can also arrange for people to race in local races. These races are usually very international affairs and multi-category from junior to 1st category.
