Having just completed the Raid Pyrenees, I have nothing but praise, respect and admiration for the entire team, making this the most memorable and enjoyable week of cycling in 20 years. Stuarts experience, character and advice, along with his superb team of guides and masseurs, along the best traffic free routes, between fantastic hotels on superb bikes , made for an absolutely outstanding adventure, second to none. There's nothing I could change or comment on to enhance the experience. The commeraderie between 13 previously unknowns to each other also added to make for a sensational trip. Hi Stuart! I came back to Canada this past week from my month trip in Spain! Just wanted to tell you how much I loved my first 8 days of the month cycling with you guys in Majorque! The hotel, the food, the rides, everything was perfect!! English immersion was also great for me! We don’t get to speak English much here in Quebec City!! A special thanks to you Stuart for noticing there was something wrong with my bike on the very first day during the ride and making sure I had a different one ready for the next day! It was perfect!! Thank you for the great memories!!

Last month (April 2024), I spent a week cycling with Stuart Hall in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca. It was my second trip following a great holiday in Palma on the south of the island in early 2023. I had a wonderful stay in a great hotel, did some fantastic well-planned rides led by excellent guides and met lots of friendly people. 100% recommended

Hi Stuart, It was a great holiday and I’m certainly planning to be back next year. The hotel and location were perfect. The staff in the hotel were really friendly and helpful; the rooms very clean and spacious and the food was fab. It’s the first time that I have been to Mallorca, although I have cycled in many countries. The island is perfect for cycling and in particular for training. I went out with the fast group led by Marcus and with Oliver as sweeper. Marcus went like a train on the front all day and it was certainly the training experience I was seeking. Next year I’ll organise a training camp for the training camp though! I heard one or two grumbles from people who got dropped from that group. At the end of the day, getting shelled out the back is something that can happen to us all sometimes, so I wouldn’t change a thing. We can always choose to join one of the other rides. Big thank you to you and your team for organising it really well. It was very straightforward. And a particularly big thank you to Marcus and Oliver for towing me around all week.

Dear Helen and Stuart, Just a short note to thank you and your team for the cycling holiday I’ve enjoyed this past 5-days. The Dream hirebike on which I rode nearly 500km was set up perfectly first time by Wayne. The gearing was spot on and it was well balanced on some fast descents. Being a short, fairly small woman I (and my shoulders/upper back!) really appreciated the narrower handlebars - unusual from my previous experience of road bike hire. The medium/steady rides were great and your guides knowledgeable and friendly. I also enjoyed meeting and riding with fellow guests Catherine, Gill and Jane. The hotel was good value and in a great location. Hope to be back out with you again within the next year!

Hi Stuart/Helen, Just returned from my third trip cycling with you and wanted to say thank you for another fab week. Didn’t cycle with you Stuart but did with Helen for a couple of rides including Wednesday when I wasn’t sure the rides would head out. Thanks Helen for choosing a safe route and stopping for coffee. I also wanted to recognise Bart and Ian who fixed my pxxtures (despite tyres being newish) - both are fab ride leaders for you and represent the organisation well. I’m sure I’ll be back again soon

Thanks to all, the week is a great time, the hotel is good and the fact that there are hire bikes on-site is a major benefit. The guides were great and I think there are more guides than when I came 6 years ago.

I had a fantastic trip ! I really enjoyed the whole week - the cycling, the hotel and the people. Tiime with like minded folk was inspirational and a great talking point each evening at dinner. I went to Mallorca with the intension to give it a go and by day two I couldn't resist the challenge of progressing to the 'faster' group ! It was so well ran, the group were all supportive and encouraging and I ended the week cycling every day except one. Back home I am aiming to keep the mileage up - in between the rain ! Literally it hasn't stopped raining since I have been back home. Looking forward to heading out again, Malloraca or perhaps somewhere new. Thanks to Stuart and the team.

Hi Helen, A massive thank you to you and the team for a truly wonderful five days- cycling 500k! I have been to the island before but this was a very special trip. A lovely mix of rides to choose from. The hotel catered very well for our needs and the Stuart hall team super friendly and helpful at all times, on and off the rides. it’s the small things that count like remembering your name and checking you had a good day! I definitely spent less time looking up where I was going and more time riding this trip! I can’t wait to come back to the island with you.

Can’t recommend Stuart Hall Cycling Holidays Enough………. I’ve been going to Stuart’s Majorca Training Camp for years and it just keeps getting better. The cycling has always been first class but the hotel accommodation keeps on improving. This March, 2024, I went with a group of 10, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Stuart and his highly experienced team, totally understand what’s important and cater from the inexperienced cyclist to the Pros. You don’t have to worry about a thing, they have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble. From the minute you get to Palma airport you are looked after by the team. The hotel has great spa facilities all included, the food is excellent and many of the dishes are cooked to order. For a very small cost before travelling, you can upgrade to full board, definitely worth it, the whole package is exceptional value. I’m looking forward to my next trip as are several others in the group. Many thanks.

Thanks Stuart. It was my first ever cycling holidays and I am so glad I did it. Really well organised with multiple rides each day. Hotel was fantastic for a cycling holiday with spa. Great knowledgeable staff and support all through. Really enjoyed every bit of it. Would highly recommend it to anyone interested in cycling. Hope I can get home permission for another such week of fun with Stuart Hall cycling soon.

I have just returned from a 2 week Stuart Hall Spring training camp. This was my 2nd Stu Hall camp and it again exceeded my expectations. The camps represent superb value for money. Hotel Playa Mar in particular was a superb base. Plentiful good food, superb apartment rooms and a very good wellness area. The rides were well tailored to different ability groups & the routes were all incredible. My 2 week camp has confirmed to me tgat Mallorca is hard to beat as a cycling destination. I spent 4 nights at the Palma base & then rode to Puerto Pollensa with my group & spent a further 10 days at the Playa Mar. I went in need of improving my fitness and Stu Halls team made sure I did with challenging rides at achievable paces. I will be going again & cannot reccomend the holidays more!

A big thank you to both of you and your amazing team, who made my first trip with Stuart Hall Cycling such a memorable experience. Everyone is so polite, friendly and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful, with stunning walks. Ian is in his element out on his bike each day. I look forward to seeing you both next year when Ian and I return for the Spring season. I recently brought our son to Mallorca for a few days of cycling with Stuart Hall and it was fantastic! Having previously only cycled around our neighbourhood in London on his hybrid bike with flat pedals, he clipped in and did a 30 km introductory ride on Day 1 and a 100km ride on Day 2. Our ride leaders looked after us well and we both loved it. We hired bikes as were only there for a short visit and they were great (full carbon, Specialized, perfect condition). The Hotel Occidental Playa de Palma was ideal for its location near the airport, beach and local restaurants. An added bonus that made it feel all-the-more authentic was that some of the Lidl-Trek riders were staying there as well. Great cycling for various levels, excellent company and a top trip all-around … highly recommend and will return again soon.

I recently enjoyed an absolutely incredible week in Mallorca on my first ever cycling holiday. I was recommended Stuart Hall by a friend of mine, and I was not disappointed. As it was my first cycling holiday and I was flying solo, I was slightly apprehensive, but was made to feel welcome by both the Stuart Hall staff, and by those also on their cycling holidays. The hotel was great, as was the food, and the roads and scenery were stunning. I hope to go back there to see more of the country.

Hi Stuart, I just wanted to say that I had an absolutely fantastic time on my holiday. It was very hard to adjust back to normal life after a perfect week in the sun and on the bike. All the guides on the rides I completed were excellent and very friendly. Special mention for Rob, Wayne, Beth, Jesper and Joe, all who were great on and off the bike. I thought the whole setup was very professional and well ran. I had no issues with my bike and would happily ride it again without question. All the guests were really friendly and a good bunch, so a combination of the Stuart Hall staff and other guests made me feel very at ease on my first trip. The hotel was great, with good facilities, surroundings and atmosphere. The only nitpick I would make is that the evening meal was a bit hit and miss, particularly on my first day. Breakfast and bar facilities were great otherwise. I’m looking forward to coming back next year, so I am keeping my eye on the website for when dates become available. Stuart, Many thanks to you & the team for organising a most enjoyable holiday. There were many impressive things about your organisation. Firstly the way that from the start you gave us ride options that suited the (considerably) varying abilities of everyone in the group. A special mention to Helen; her knowledge of the backroads on the first two days gave us great rides, but also kept us clear of traffic. I was also impressed that having stayed on for two days with no cycling, you still sorted my transport to the airport. Hotel was fine; good room size, slightly ‘functional’ decor and meal quality for a 4*, but a very friendly vibe to the place and nice that it isn't just full of Brits! We really enjoyed the holiday. We wanted a hassle-free holiday, and we got exactly that, so thank you. The guides were all friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to help us access any particular rides we wanted to do, including adding a minor alteration to the group ride to drop us off at a good attack point for the mountains. We enjoyed the group rides but also did our own thing at times. The freedom to perhaps do a shorter morning ride then potter off to explore under our own steam was a plus for us. The Playa Mar Hotel proved to be an excellent choice and we liked the 'sociable table' set up.

Hi Jenny, Helen and Stuart, Corsica was fantastic from start to finish. The Island of Beauty did not disappoint! We loved the routes, a great mix of coast and country. The days were challenging but achievable, leaving plenty of time for some evening exploring. Particularly enjoyed Calvi and Corte. Hotels were all lovely - Scopa Rossa was our favourite for that local/rustic feel. All topped off with the usual mix of interesting participants you find on a Stuart Hall tour! Big shout out to Ian - absolute star on this tour. Couldn't fault his enthusiasm, guidance and support. Many thanks to Ray too for stepping up to the plate. We would be very keen on similar tours in the future.

My wife and I booked an Oct 2023 Majorca trip with them for my 50th birthday present and they only met, but exceeded our expectations! Dear Stuart Hall Cycling, I came to Mallorca 12-19 Sept on my own and stayed at the Playa Mar. I enjoyed every minute of it. I rode with Wayne’s group and I thought he did a great job of keeping everyone happy. The room was bigger than I needed and I would have traded the bed in the lounge for a desk so that I could more easily have done some work on my laptop after the day’s ride. However I understand that it is a family not a business hotel and it was worth being there to have dinner and drinks with the rest of the group. I would definitely like to come back, although not sure when that will be.

Hope I’m writing this in the correct place. I’ve just had a fantastic week riding from Puerto Pollensa with great guiding by Wayne and Marcus and the other guides too numerous to name. Thanks very much to all concerned and hope to see you in Spring next year.

I did the Raid Pyrenees with Stuart in June from Hendaye to Cerbere. An amazing experience, incredible scenery, good choice of hotels and a great bunch of guys. Tougher than we had envisaged but lots of encouragement from the guides kept us going! The only thing I would tweak would be to offer a little more variety on the evening meals, there is only so much pasta and chicken you can eat! Overall I highly recommend, the organisation was great, routes sublime and guiding/support/logistics just the right balance. Our group will be booking another trip soon....

Stuart and the team made our Trans-Pyrenees trek a truely memorable event. Their knowledge of the route and all its challenges ensured the whole group made it through safely to the Med. Aches and pains all round but a real feeling of achievement. We'll be signing up for another adventure next year for sure. John

Hi I certainly enjoyed the trip from start to finish. As I have already told Stuart the organisation and dissemination of information was spot on from start to finish. Being ex military I like to know what I’m doing when and where etc and I was certainly left in no doubt both prior and throughout the trip. Your admin instruction with the route, gpx files and hotel names etc was invaluable. As suggested all the routes were loaded to my Garmin which allowed me to ride at my own pace knowing that at the end of the ride I’d arrive at the hotel. The support vehicles were invaluable on the harder and wetter days, food stops were great and there was always food and water when required. Hotels were well located and perfectly acceptable for the trip. They say that people make things work regardless, well Stuart and his team certainly did that. Regards Glenn

I thought everything about the Stuart Hall cycling experience was superb Sure the bikes are not Pinarello - but they work great - and do the job just fine. And they are fabulous value. The hotel was brilliant - clean - super food - very relaxed. Hi Stuart, Helen and Team Apologies for not having e-mailed before. But when you get home from a holiday, life takes over. Please extend my sincere thanks to your entire team for a great holiday. The ride leaders and sweepers, (in my case Bart – bless him), were all great. Their knowledge of the island and the numerous tracks away from main roads was so instrumental in providing us all with safe, enjoyable and occasionally exciting riding. Not to mention the beautiful countryside. I’ve been visiting Mallorca for 30 years but with you guys I discovered so much more. Hi Stuart, Helen and team especially Wayne and Oliver. This was my first organised biking cycling holiday and I can say that it was truly fantastic I’m every possible way from organisation and logistics, through to bike hire route selection and group leaders, to accommodation choices and transfers. I had just ridden Japan with a friend which was great but this was a whole new level and I am hooked. Hooked on cycling holidays and hooked on going away with Stuart Hall cycling holidays as my European cycling holiday provider. I will be returning next year to Mallorca and will book early enough to get a Raid spot. Huge thank you to Wayne the overt star of the organisation for outstanding elite selection, group selection and control and reading the group. Also a huge thank you to the covert hero Oliver der Mechaniker…..who does an amazing job of keeping the bikes on the road and in outstanding condition and is fun to cycle with. This was my second trip to Majorca and once again it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We booked through Stuart Hall who leaves nothing to chance with a well oiled set-up from booking, collection at airport and return to first class accommodation. His variety of rides with excellent ride leaders provides an experience, all cyclists and is a great way to see some of the most stunning views on the island. Would highly recommend Stuart for anyone thinking of travelling for a cycling holiday to Majorca and hope to return there once again in 2024.

Hi there. Just a quick email to say thanks for a great week with you guys. I think this was my fourth time and probably the best yet. I didn't get to do the Andratx ride this year due to the uncertain weather, nor the lighthouse, which would have been perfect today, but the bike is in the box (great excuse). I think I was lucky with the groups out here also, had a cracking time with the Welsh. With just over 400miles in 6 days, I'm feeling happy about the start of our coast2coast ride through France again. Hope to get out again next year. Thanks very much.

Dear Stuart, Another great holiday with you. I am already planning a return trip for next year and possibly joining you in November. This year I found the range of organised rides extremely good and very well suited to my return to cycling after a foot operation. Some new destinations for me which was nice. The ride leaders were all very consistent with their pace and all rides had a sweeper which ensured everyone was well looked after. I particularly enjoyed the rides with Geoff, Patrick, Brendan, Neil and Rob. The hotel is perfect with friendly, helpful staff, comfortable clean rooms and a good selection of food in the buffet. The all inclusive worked well having lunch up until 3pm. Organisation was excellent, pick up and drop off both on time. The pre ride briefings were useful and informative. Best wishes, Kate

Stuart, Helen and the team, I just wanted to say what a fabulous time we had cycling with you all in Mallorca. The playa mar hotel was fabulous, the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and attentive. It was such a treat to sit in the poolside bar after a day on the bike with a glass of something cold and chat about the day’s adventures. It was great to meet other groups and also chat to your wonderful staff about where they had been too. Our greatest memory was the ride that you organised for us, from Andraxt back to the hotel. Wow, that was something else. The bikes were really good and well maintained and any mechanical issues were addressed straight away. We enjoyed the views, the chats, the beautiful roads, the cafes …. Need I go on? We all had such a great bonding experience and can’t wait until next year. Sarah

Hi guy’s, What a fantastic holiday, first time away without my family and a cycling holiday no less! I cycled every day and achieved limits I never thought were possible. The guides are fantastic and very positive people. Hotel was so welcoming it became home for a week and everyone knew you to see. Majorca has such beautiful coastal & Mountain View’s hard keeping eyes on the roads. Lots of stops and opportunities for photos, no pressure within the group.

The food was absolutely delicious, so much variety, something for everyone. Just back from an amazing week in Mallorca. My first time there with your company and I cannot praise you highly enough. The set up is just brilliant, hotel great, excellent selection of rides every day. All the leaders were amazing especially Ian. Loved every minute and definitely looking to return either October or next April.

This is my second time coming to Mallorca cycling with Stuart Hall. The reason I came back for more is because I loved my first experience a lot. And I must say, my second time was also amazing. It was great to be in Pollença (I was in Palma the first time) and it was brilliant to find Marcus and Tiago still there as guides and to see Ruth again. The cycling was incredible. I enjoyed all the climbs and the faster days (trying to hang on to Marcus for dear life 😀). The Mar Senses Hotel is fantastic and all in all the overall experience was unforgettable. I want to thank everyone who has made my 6 days in Mallorca just fabulous. I would love to the Alps and I am just debating whether I am fit/strong enough for what looks like an epic adventure. Stuart Hall Cycling is just the best and I have been recommending it to everyone I know.

I have recently returned from a week based in Palma with Stuart Hall Cycling. Everything was seamlessly organised. The rides were great and the break represented excellent value for money. I am booking again next year and hope to also attend the 2024 Raid Alpine. Stuart and Marcus were excellent ride leaders and did their very best to cater for slightly varied abilities within the group. This was a great way to get some base mileage in at the start of the year. The food and accommodation as well as the facilities at the hotel were good & I would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart Hall holidays to anybody wanting some early season mileage on a great island for cycling.

Stuart, et al: I have only one suggestion after my incredible trip to Mallorca, and that is to shorten the lunch breaks by either allowing the riders to fan out and seek their own lunch (rather than all gather at one small, short staffed cafe) with a one hour time limit, or assign a guide to those riders who want only a brief lunch stop, so they can get back on their bikes more quickly. Ninety minute lunch stops were too long, IMO. Otherwise, every aspect of my trip was exemplary, and I would recommend your organization without reservation. I particularly liked our guides, Marcus and Neil. I hope to see you again.

Hello Stuart and Helen - I had a great trip and very memorable, enjoyed my first visit to Mallorca. We got lucky with the weather (each day was warmer) and the groups that we rode with were very compatible with what we wanted to do. We came to Mallorca with the expectation that we would do some rides “on our own”. We did not resort to this and we are all glad that the ride leaders (guides - especially Marcus and Neil) were there to make sure that we did what we wanted to do and got back to the hotel on time. The rooms were good. The food was plentiful and we did not go hungry! All in all, a great trip that I hope I will be able to do again.

I had a brilliant trip with Stuart Hall Cycling. From arrival to departure everything was organised for me. I stayed in the same hotel as the Stuart Hall crew which was amazing, not only did I throughly enjoy the cycling but also enjoyed the breakfast and lunch and dinner with the guys. The guides Stuart, Marcus, Ben, Rob and Tiago were brillaint ensuring that everybody was comfortable and noone left behind. Would highly recommend and not just because of the very reasonable prices. You are guaranteed a good holiday with these guys."

I was initially nervous about going away on a cycling holiday to Mallorca by myself. I doubted my ability to keep up with the group. The thought of eating alone in a crowded restaurant filled me with dread and I almost backed out at the last minute. However I put my big girl pants on and sucked it up. So glad that I did. I had the most fantastic time with Stuart Hall Cycling . Most of the other people were also solo cyclists and half the group were women. The guides Ben, Tiago and Marcus made me feel welcome. There were group meets in the bar, we sat together for meals. The cycling was superb and I kept up. I made new friends and had such a great time I'm going back in April.

I spent 5 AMAZING days in Majorca cycling with Stuart Hall. I can't recommend them enough! I had the best time ever. Stuart and Helen are very attentive "hosts". The hotel near Palma was really nice. The bike rented from Stuart was in fantastic condition and was a pleasure to ride. And what to say about the outstanding guides: Ben, Marcus and Tiago. They aren't just incredible riders with great knowledge of the roads but they are super personable, easy to talk to and always up for a laugh. I really did not want to come back to the UK. I am certainly considering coming back for more. Thank you to Stuart Hall Cycling for the amazing experience I had. Majorca is a cycling paradise!!

This was our second trip with Stuart Hall Cycling Holidays in the past 12 months and it was another fantastic experience, fulfilling all of our expectations. In no particular order, the transfers from & the return to Palma airport were slick, the hotel was perfect with comfortable large rooms. The hotel food was fresh, plentiful & tasty. There was a great bar area at the hotel to chill post ride. Most importantly, on the cycling side, the choice of routes catered for all abilities, we enjoyed the company & had complete confidence in the group leaders. The weather was fantastic. Just finished a fantastic week of cycling with Stuart and the crew. Would defo recommend it to anyone and will defo be back next year. Travelled on my own and was looked after from start to finish and made to feel very welcome by all. Mars Senses was it’s usual lovely self - service, food and helpful staff. This year’s SH boys were really great. Special mention Ben, Roy and Brendan who looked after us on a ‘medium’ ride with a large group of [club] riders who were determined to push the pace. Your chaps ensured we didn’t drop off the back and managed a few tricky characters really well. We hope to return again next year…..just need to get it authorised by our families 😉 Thanks to you for your clear communication, providing decent bikes and slick airport transfers. From being picked up at the airport to being dropped back at the airport the experience was first class Hotel absolutely first class includes service food cleanliness Rides again first class but I would like to single out Neil,arron,Brenden and Wayne, these four guys were fantastic and made my experience even more enjoyable Please show this email to your staff as they should be extremely proud of how they conduct themselves and most importantly you should be proud of them In my work any company is only as good as it’s staff

Thanks guys. Had a blast (again) in Mallorca. Special thanks to: Ben for expert pacing and good conversation all the way up ‘the pig’ and for riding until 6 to get the ride done. Geoff for looking after our pal Norman when he took ill at lunchtime and needed nursing home, some 30+ miles. The rides out with Brendon and Rob are some of the best I’ve enjoyed in Mallorca. Great craic and expert leadership. Even on my last day Brendon and Geoff lead us up Sa Calobra and back. I finished at 4 and was on the bus to the airport at 5. A great end to a great week. 487 miles and 28,400 ft of climbing in a week!! Overall, everything was spot on. The Team were great. Rides well organised and the hotel very comfy. (Hopefully) I’ll be back next September.

Had a fantastic week in Majorca with Stuart Hall holidays. As a single traveller I can’t complain, from start to finish service and support couldn’t have been better, all the guides were super supportive and very conscious of everyone’s enjoyment and safety. Rides were well organised, riding through beautiful quiet roads of Majorca at a good pace with excellent coffee / lunch stops Off the bikes staff were just as engaging and encouraging, it was great to see Stuart and all guides show real interest in guests, making sure it felt like a team effort, socialising and laughing making the week very enjoyable. If in doubt about booking, don’t be just book you won’t regret it! Already planning trips for next year

Just back from a fantastic week in the Pyrenees. A great route and a well-organised trip. Stuart and his team proved all the help and support you need in an unfussy way, enabling you to enjoy your time on the bike. The hotels and food were good and the routes were well-pitched, to be challenging yet achievable and enjoyable, with all our group getting supported whatever their pace. The Pyrenees themselves are awesome, unspoilt yet spectacular, with long climbs, some steep ones too, scenic peaks, quiet valleys and enjoyable descents. Highly recommended trip and a great company.

We have ended our journey and before we all disappear in different directions - Canada, Sweden, Ireland and UK- and before this WhatsApp group closes I would like to say to you all what an amazing time I have had this week and it’s all down to you guys. (the climbs, views and descents may have something to do with it of course). The support and camaraderie between us has been inspiring. An experience never to forget and made possible by those amazing chaps Stuart, Ian and Ben who have been, quite frankly, the best. This was a great trip for my first experience in the Alps! Stuart and the staff were very helpful and supportive through the whole experience. I was lucky enough to ride with a great group of people and had good experience on the bike and each day at meals and exploring in the small towns. Pushing myself on the big days added to the overall reward at the end!

Excellent trip riding the Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo passes in Italy. Well organized both before and during the trip. Helen, Ian, and Aaron were lovely and our hotel was fantastic. Great lunch and dinner stops and nice hire bikes as well. Highly recommend; we will definitely be doing another trip in the future!

Hi All, Just to say thank you for another amazing trip with everyone & Stuart Hall Cycling. We stayed at Mar Senses this year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent and staff were outstanding, very friendly and efficient. The cycling is always awesome, sun and smooth roads! The ride leaders are friendly and navigate the many lanes with ease, always finding great café stops. The trip, as always was great. I had the benefit of staying at Mar Senses for a week and then three weeks at Playa Mar, both pleasurable experiences. My room at Playa Mar was excellent. I appreciated being on the ground floor and to having the morning sun. The meals were fine and the staff cooperative. As for the SH crew, they were informative and courteous and the rides were varied and interesting. Altogether it was an excellent cycling holiday experience. I plan to return in October.

Booking with Stuart Hall last minute for the 312, great organisation, hotel, race numbers all ready - really took the nerves away for us all to enjoy the day - a challenging but beautiful 167 completed with smiles under blue skies ☀️☺️

The day before the event the organised ride out to spin the legs was just right. Hello, We had a fantastic time at The Mar Senses Hotel with Stuart Hall. All your team did everything they could to give us a great cycling holiday, it was so much fun. Great routes, ride leaders, they accommodated all abilities and provided us with great refreshment stops. The hire bikes were super as well. We will certainly be back. The only thing that could be improved on might be the dinner at the hotel, there was not always clear choices for vegetarians. Also the jacuzzi in the spa was a bit chilly. Everything else was great. Hi Stuart and Jenny Sorry this message is so late but I wanted to say a big thank you for a fantastic week in March! It was my first time cycling abroad and despite the weather throwing some challenges, the riding was fantastic and routes certainly seemed to make the most of the weather we did have! Didn’t have to worry or even think about anything from arrival at Palma airport which was a blessing. The ride leaders and guides were a fantastic support and great fun also, and special thanks to Wayne and Aaron. The flight home was slightly painful after a few too many drinks (and shots!?!) in the Mar Senses bar on the final evening but everything made it back in one piece! Thanks again Lottie

Can't recommend Stuart Hall Cycling enough - have now cycled north and south of Mallorca with them, routes are always well chosen and appropriate, guides are excellent and great company. The hotels they use are in excellent locations, comfortable and very friendly with all the facilities you'll need on a cycling holiday. Bike hire also top quality and good value. Given the way we've all had to live over the last few years their flexibility and ability to accommodate last minute changes is equally admirable

Good routes and a variety of hard and eat which allowed for good recovery and the much needed endurance mileage. Ride leaders - you were all epic! Feedback on how to improve is always welcome. General organisation - easy to do business with. When you look at the website you get a good feel for what you are going to get and how much for. This was the first time we had participated in a leader led cycle activity and it was brilliant. We really enjoyed the experience. The booking process / general organisation was very relaxed - 'well oiled' - supported with information as & when requested. We had absolute confidence in 'Stuart Hall Cycling' with regards to arrangements such as transfers, hotel booking & cycling experience and the general organisation was excellent. The hotel (Occidental Playa de Palma) was perfect for us. The food was good and generous. The rides were good. Interesting, very enjoyable and sometimes challenging, which has given us a benchmark for our next trip. Ed had us weighed up & measured quickly (ability / fitness wise) and tailored the routes / itineraries perfectly. The hire bikes were great value for money, set up perfectly and with Ed & Stuart on hand we had full confidence in the mechanicals. In summary, the experience was just what we had imagined and you did not disappoint, far from it.

It was a really excellent holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed. All your staff, especially Wayne and Matt, were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t think of any ways to improve on what it sets out to be. And it’s my second ride with SHC, and in Majorca - there’s a good reason for that! It’s a great format. Thank you. SHC service absolutely faultless. As a minimum it takes the organisational hassle out of booking, but more importantly provides an oasis of like-minded people and unsurpassable local knowledge of roads, restaurants etc. Yes, definitely will be back again. Dear Stuart, I was very impressed with the organisation of the holiday and the standard of the hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They were persistent in dealing with a small niggle on the bike that I hired. The rides were well described and supervised. I was particularly impressed when the ride in the mountains was changed to a flat ride for safety’s sake when it started to rain. I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and would return in the future. I had a fantastic week in Majorca with Stuart Hall Cycling. My first cycling trip overseas and first venture into group riding. The experience was very memorable, as a lone female cyclist I felt looked after from the moment I arrived at the airport until my departure. The staff could not do enough to make my holiday great fun with guidance where needed. A highlight for me was a group ride at pace where Helen both supported me and gave me guidance how to ride in a peloton. This gave me confidence and knowledge for the future. Hi! Cycling in Mallorca is always the highlight of my cycling calendar. Since Carl encouraged me to join up with Croston a couple of years ago it’s been the thing I look forward to each year. The holiday and in particular the rides are great fun, and the Stuart Hall ride leaders are always supportive and interested in how you feel and what your looking to achieve each day. I can’t think of anything that could be either different or improved: the holiday is very enjoyable, the hotels and staff are fab, the cycling is sometimes challenging but it’s always fun and the weather is great.. Coming on my own was very rewarding in meeting so many interesting and varied individuals, including some who live very close to me on Hayling Island and ride for Clubs that I know well. Trips would not be so enjoyable without the time and effort that you both put in to ensure that everybody has a good time. From being picked up at the Airport, the welcome briefing, the Playa Mar Hotel, the routes and of course, Wayne, Simon & Ed for their enthusiasm, encouragement and local knowledge all helps contribute to a winning formula. I was surprised by just how many people had previous experience of a Stuart Hall trip, which is always reassuring so you must be doing things in the right way. I look forward to my June 2022 Dolomites trip and will plan to return again to Mallorca in October 2022, hopefully with my non cycling family (wife, daughter & son-in-law) who are eager to sample all that the Playa Mar has to offer, while I spend the day out cycling. Hi Stuart, I would like to thank you very much for an epic cycle across the Alps last week. I'm not sure if it has actually sunk in yet what I completely but no doubt in the coming weeks it will. The Stuart Hall Raid Alpine is a fantastic adventure, taking in the iconic climbs that we watch the Pros contest on year after year. I often dreamed about doing one of the climbs, but to do so many in the week is incredible. The advice offered by you and Ian each day was invaluable, and my climbing technique improved as the week progressed. We were well looked after on the road with excellent lunch breaks, and the hotels for our overnight stays in the various ski resorts were full of character. Hi Helen It’s just over 2 weeks since we contacted you about a potential short cycling trip to Mallorca. From the beginning to now sitting here waiting for our flight back to London the service we have received and experienced has really been beyond exceptional. In our opinion it’s always starts with ‘location, location’ and Mallorca, Puerto Pollenca and Mar Senses Hotel are spot on. All the staff we met were fantastic, from the taxi driver from the airport, Ed the mechanic and Wayne and Simon as cycling guides. Not to mention ALL the staff in the hotel. We are working hard already to organise ourselves for a return trip to Mar Senses next year. Please could you look at your availability around Easter weekend 2022, 5-7 nights. We are reasonably flexible about dates. Ideally, leaving UK on Thursday 21st April 2022 please. It’s very exciting to be able to plan ahead a bit more. Dear Stuart, You beat me to it as I stayed an extra day in Inverness and my first job after returning was to write and complement you on a well organised trip. It was all a superb experience with hotels well placed with regard to distance, restaurants close by and magnificent catering en-route. Each morning we had a briefing and a general indication of where the breaks would be. Lo and behold as the days unfolded there they were. Ed and Phil were excellent as ride leaders as it is not easy to manage a disparate group with differing needs. Especially as the age range went from 22 to 71 (me) with each of us having our own individual pace. My complements to a well organised and well administered ride. A few of us are considering your Majorca trips and we are talking about the ‘Coast to Coast’ for next year. Regards John

Dear Stuart Re the recent C2C ride. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and had a great three days riding. Phil, Ed and Mark were fantastic in every way - organising everything so we didn't have to do anything apart from cycle. They were always on hand to transport day bags, provide drinks and motivation, and make sure everything happened when it need to. The route was stunning although harder than I expected - but I have ridden in the south of England for most of my life and underestimated the climbs of the Lake District and the North York Moors! Luckily I had enough gears so coped OK. The first hill out of Whitehaven was a complete shock though as a 17% climb in the first mile was unexpected and none of us was warmed up. Maybe there is another route out of town? Apart from that the cycling was fine. The GPX files that I downloaded to my Garmin worked perfectly so there was no risk of getting lost. Review Whitehaven to Whitby Coast to Coast September 2020. Thanks for organising such a fantastic ride taking in the lake District, the Pennines and the North Yorkshire Moors. The route was great; the scenery spectacular; the café stops excellent; the hotels great (especially the one at Trenholme Bar); the support provided by Ben and Mark was brilliant. To have been able to organise and run it, given the Covid 19 constraints, was amazing. I would definitely recommend this trip. I even got the chance to test my eyesight at Barnard Castle! Hi Helen and Stuart What a fantastic cycling trip! The accommodation was perfect - a lovely family-run hotel, which the Italians appear to do especially well (the place we go to with my bike club in Cesenatico is similar). The food was fantastic and Covid-19 awareness/adherence within the hotel was as a good as it could be. The scenery was stunning! The group of customers were great and we all seemed to get along, but the guidance/support from Stuart Hall Cycling was simply excellent. Ian was great (as usual) and was always there when you needed him. Aaron was a welcome bundle of young energy and I think that everyone enjoyed his presence/support. Ed was simply outstanding. He really was. He guided and marshalled everyone in a very effective way throughout the trip, but also carried out repairs on quite a number of bikes (mine included). Nothing was too much trouble for him and he carried everything off with unassuming good grace. You have a real star on your hands. Personally, I would probably have enjoyed the end of several of the harder rides a little bit more had I been lighter and fitter, but to get away on a cycling trip in the current circumstances was amazing, so thanks very much to the both of you. Dear Helen, I am writing to firstly say thank you for getting the Dolomites trip organised in the face of adversity; although the climbs were still tough (I told myself it was cooler than last year so should be ‘easier’), I had a great time. The group was brilliant. I’ve made some new friends who along with old friends I hope to see on future trips. Secondly, Lorenzo and his staff once again did us proud with a warm welcome, comfortable clean rooms, superb homemade food and a well-stocked bar! The taxi drivers were friendly and arrived early on which took the stress away. Finally, I want to say how impressed I was with Ed’s leadership and organisation. Not an easy task for a young man with some ‘old and not so old bulls’ in the group. Ed handled the group with aplomb, allowing the stronger ones their head and encouraging those at the back to keep going. What an asset. Ian was his usual supportive, calm self and was like the shopkeeper in Mr Ben magically appearing at the side of the road in all the right places with support and loads of water. Arran was great on those difficult moments on the climbs, and we had a couple of in jokes between us. All in all another fantastic trip and I hope to be on the Corsica trip next year! This journey meant a lot to me for different reasons, but it was a real quality trip. Ben and Ed did a fantastic job and were great company too. The saddle sores may well already have been started by the time we got it lowered but the difference it made to relieving pain in my hips and lower back was remarkable. Had a fab time in Mallorca in October. Great rides, out of the comfort zone, though really supportive team. Will be back in May.

My husband, Jason and myself had a great trip with you this October. Our third time over and each time gets better. The rides were brilliant, offering a great mixture of flats and mountains. We also enjoyed some longer rides being put in the mix, both participating in the 100miler. Although, you always have to account for Bens added 10% making it up to 114! Very enjoyable day!! All the leaders were very approachable, with Wayne making lots of our rides great fun and accommodating, enjoying a few chain gang efforts! It was our first time too booking on to the Andratx trip and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Stunning ride with breath taking views and great company! One we will definitely do again. It may of even temped us to take part in the 312 next year? I have attached some photos for your gallery to choose if you’d like. We look forward to booking our next visit next year! Many thanks Ros

I had a great time thanks.. I booked as part of the Croston Vélo Cycling Club having been encouraged to come out by my friend and ski colleague Carl. I'm kicking myself that I never came out before. The hotel, food, location and company are all fantastic, and the cycling routes and Ride Leaders are all brill too. We road the iconic climbs and raced around the lanes. It's going to be 2 weeks next time, without doubt, so I get a rest day in the middle! Cheers and I'm already looking forward to the next camp.

The riding was incredible, I’ll be back with you next autumn. The hotel was good,the food was exceptional for a 4 star. The ride leaders were fantastic – special mention for Sue, she was so supportive and considered and she was great fun. Dave was incredible, I really enjoyed his experience and company. And young Aaron was full of beans, it was nice to have him around, we had some fun too, racing on the way home. I loved the meet and greet lady, sorry, I didn’t catch her name, but she was delightful. Finally, Ben (I think that was his name?) he seemed to be in charge. He went out of his way to take on our route requests and the one day I rode with him, he was great company.

Hi Helen and Stuart We have just really enjoyed a very relaxing week in Mallorca at the Mar Senses. The cycling has been great and all the guides have done a terrific job (nice relaxed rides, good food stops and good fun). My wife wants to come back again (same time, same place), so Stuart Hall Cycling certainly gets a 10 out of 10 in my feedback!

Can I compliment your organisation, my entire trip was fabulous from all sides. Ben, Aaron, Sue and Dave were superbly supportive friendly and a joy to spend time with on and off the roads.

Hi Stuart, Just to say what a fantastic trip that was. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I must say that the guides and support staff were excellent and I could not fault anything with their organisation, planning and support.

I took part on the Raid Pyrenees 2019 and thought the staff, Ivan & Ian in the vans and Ed & Dave on the bikes were first class friendly and helpful, brilliant. The course was tough but doable with some epic climbs and backup was always at hand helping riders with various problems which was so nice to know at different times in the ride.

Hi Stuart, After a memorable week completing the Raid, I have to say I was highly impressed with the service. Starting with your staff, the professionalism, support and ability to manage a group with varied ability was excellent. Ed and Dave were fantastic guides and top blokes. Ian and Ivan provided great support throughout the week. The hotels were all clean and comfortable throughout the week, and I felt great value for the overall price of the trip. In terms of food, I would have like to have liked a bit more variety for dinner. I think we had pork and pasta for three consecutive evenings for example. In the mornings, it would have been nice to have some oats/porridge to get us prepped for the day. I love pastries (especially when in France) but it’s not the best fuel for the day. Lunch was fine. The route was spectacular and clearly eclipses the official raid route. The only suggestion I would make is regarding the final climb of day 1. It was absolutely savage and put the fear of god into the entire group for the week ahead. We all love a challenge but I think a lot of people burned far too many matches on that climb and was one for many to forget rather then celebrate as an achievement. If you can find another way around that miserable thing, I’m sure many wouldn’t be too disappointed. Overall - brilliant value, top craic and thoroughly enjoyed the week with Stuart Hall. Would definitely use you guys again. Cheers Mike

Hi Stuart great trip with the right level of difficulty hotels and food good with no complaints from me. Ian David and Ed were superb leaders along with Ivan they went that extra mile to make it a most memorable week, having done this raid before the route ridden by us far exceeded my last experience so once again thanks and we'll done to all. We have just completed a Marlow to Champagne cycle ride organised by the team at Stuart Hall Cycling and it was brilliant! The team were really supportive and very well organised, the entire trip went incredibly smoothly. As a team of mostly novice cyclists we needed as much motivation as possible and they definitely helped with that. Thank you so much for everything, this was a great way of team building for us and I am sure will be talked about for years to come.

The following are some excerpts of a (long!) club write-up done after our 2019 Dolomites trip: In late June, three of our club embarked on a once in a lifetime trip to the Italian Dolomites with Stuart Hall Cycling for a week of pleasure and pain amidst the most breath-taking landscape anywhere in Europe. […] Day 3 the day I’d been waiting for - the Sella Ronda. Six climbs and some of the most gorgeous scenery in Europe. It started with the ubiquitous Falzarego, followed by the Passo Pordoi – a long and beautiful climb to a high col surrounded by ski lifts and cable cars. But these were just the appetizers. After a bit of lunch and lots of espresso, the Passo Sella and Passo Gardena were beyond beautiful and having the roads pretty much to ourselves made it all the more memorable. You sometimes just have to stop and drink it all in, and take photos of course. These moments are what the memories are made of - I could have stayed here all week and just stared. […] So, how do I summarise our week in the Dolomites? Well, it was a week that I will never forget and I’m sure my friends will agree. The company was great and the spectacle was everything we could have imagined, if not more. I, for one, have vowed that I will return there one day. If any of you are inspired to follow in our footsteps, do so without hesitation. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

I knew I was going to love my time in the Dolomites, but what I didn't expect was to actually fall in love with the Dolomites. Think, falling in love with the 70's Sophie Loren, for those old enough to remember, so as you can imagine all I can think about is rekindling that memorable romance with those majestic peaks, that glorious food, those wonderful people.

Just to say thank you for a brilliant trip to the Dolomites! stunning scenery , incredible riding, hotel & food & of course great company. Hi there, Thank you for such an amazing cycling experience in the Dolomites. I can't praise it enough. Helen, Dan and Ed were excellent - friendly, well organised, helpful and v. efficient. The Hotel Bellaria was superb. Lorenzo & his team were so hospitable; the food was incredible - really good cycling fayre. We were even treated to pizza, pastries, sandwiches when we arrived back from our tough rides - a lovely touch. We were lucky with such fantastic hot sunny weather & the scenery was absolutely stunning. Cortina was a great town to be based in. I would really recommend this cycling experience; the cycling was certainly tough especially in those soaring temperatures but well worth it for the views and the great descending. I would definitely recommend a 32 rear cassette and some pre-knowledge about the traffic (some quite fast motorcycles, sports cars and lots of coaches) Thanks once again.

Just wanted to say that I had a really good couple of days. Lost a day with rain so made sure the all inclusive bar was working well had a great ride with the guys on the Orient 80 miles! We a great steady pace as I'm not fast by any means and was a bit worried I wouldn't keep up but no problem. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to go again! Lush hotel and food. Just wanted to say a quick thank you for last week. It was my first cycling holiday didn’t know what to expect. Had a brilliant time and really well looked after by all the support crew and riders Ed, Ben, Wayne, Dan, Arran and Helen. Already looking forward to getting out again next year, although talk on the group whattsapp is a trip in October. Hopefully those that joined us in the rustic café on Friday night weren’t too hungover!

Thanks for all your hard work and for all the leaders who led us out on some stunning rides and looked after us so well. I thoroughly enjoyed the bike rides and superb location of the hotel which meant rides covered a variety of scenery. The food was great with choices to suit everyone and the accommodation was very comfortable. It was my second time with Stuart Hall in Mallorca and I would highly recommend his organisation and friendly accommodating approach with rides to suit everyone. My non cycling companion also had a great week.

Hi Jenny and Stuart, I just wanted to say on behalf of Mark, Lincoln, the group and myself a big thank you for an amazing week’s cycling. We had a brilliant week, even if the weather was a bit windy for the last 2 days! Thank you to Dave, he was a great asset and understood the intricacies of our group and how they approach their rides. Dave was very complimentary towards our guys and how they have grown in confidence since last year. Stef was lovely and she got us very quickly! It was great to see her beat the boys on a managed hill climb!😂 Majorca,I think has become a permanent fixture on our calendar! Thank you for offering us the ‘all inclusive’ option that worked very well and I think that it proved very cost effective! The hotel was as good as last year as was the food! The hire bikes were excellent. Thank you very much for giving the guys Dream bikes. Ben J especially enjoyed riding his and how it enhanced his cycling. Thank you also for repairing Stefan’s mid week and for helping making Leanne’s cycling a little easier by adjusting her gearing. The transfers to and from the airport were excellent this year with plenty of space for us and a great trailer for the bikes - thank you. As I say another fantastic week was had by everyone and we look forward to challenging ourselves again in 2020.

Morning Jenny Just a quick email to thank all of the Stuart Hall team for a fantastic week at Playa Mar. The 26 of us from Fareham Wheelers had a very enjoyable time and for those of us for whom it was a first visit, were hugely impressed. We could not fault the Hotel with the accommodation and food of excellent quality and quantity. The variety of rides each day helped us plan our itinerary from the tough days of Sa Calobra and Andratx to the flatter rides of Algaidia and Montuiri. Andratx for me was one of the best day’s cycling that I have ever experienced. We are very grateful to the Stuart Hall team for guiding us each day and for making the week so enjoyable. We are hopeful of being back again next year.

Thank you for a great time at your Mallorca Training Camp. Hotel was beyond expectations, except for the food. There was too much variety, it was too well presented and there was too much! The rides were well organised with plenty of variety and choices of difficulty. Please also pass on my thanks to the bike mechanics, without their assistance my activities would have been considerably reduced. However, overnight repairs by them had my bike running sweetly for the ride next day. If I can find a slot in my diary I will definitely be back again for another trip this year.

Hi Stuart, I just wanted to pass on my thanks to all you team. I had never been on a cycle holiday before and was a little bit concerned at riding in a group and keeping up etc. You have such a professional set up. From Helen who whilst cycling behind noticed my gears weren’t changing properly, Simon who told me to drop my saddle a few cm. Wayne an awesome guide. Dan whose expertise in the bike shop tuned up the gears. Ed who could tell I was knackered on my last ride kept me in the group on the last hills. Hi Stuart, I wanted to drop you a note having just gotten back late last night. Too often we are great at picking fault in things and not quick enough to dish out praise when it is due, and I have to say that Rich and I had an absolutely awesome time away with you and your team last week. The hotel was great, the rides were brilliant and the leaders were lovely. We both met some great people out on the bikes and in the bar afterwards. I only took up cycling 18 months ago and i surprised myself over the holiday how far/hard i could actually push myself. Stuart, Sorry I missed you on my trip. I had a great time and rode about 500 miles in the seven days I was in Mallorca. The staff, hotel and food were outstanding. The routes were wonderful. I loved the flexibility each day with the different rides. Please tell the guys that they really helped my training. I returned home late last night and went racing today. I won two criteriums! Both were about 25 miles each. Thanks again and we will see you next year.

2nd time with Stuart Hall cycling in one year and can’t fault it- from the hotel, food, staff, rides it was amazing. If you enjoy riding your bike in the sunshine with great company book this holiday you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I were with SHC in early October. I have been twice previously, however, this was my wife's first experience with Stuart Hall. She absolutely loved it, from being picked up at the airport, the room. food, cycling, guides, fellow cyclists, hotel staff and the resort of Port de Pollenca itself everything was great. Good Afternoon Stuart, I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and your staff for a brilliant holiday 23 - 30 sep 2018. From the moment we arrived everything was excellent, the room in the hotel, the bike and set up, helped by Dan. The rides each day were very well organised and the three ride leaders, Dave, Tom and Wayne, made the rides even more enjoyable. I have already told everybody at the club I ride with about Stuart Hall, recommending they use you, if they come to Majorca. I will definitely look to book next year and look forward to cycling with your company again.

Dear Stuart Hall Cycling, I had an amazing Tour de France trip & enjoyed every minute. Stuart's knowledge was invaluable & made the trip special. Seeing each stage from different points each day was great & Stuart's ability to change plans due to road closures made sure we got the best view each day. The accommodation was clean & comfortable, not luxury but good for the price, breakfast basic, we ate out for dinner & the food was great. I would love to see more of the Tour another time.

Hi Jenny, Just to let you know that The Alpine Raid was the greatest experience I have ever had on two wheels it all went better than expected. The climbs were hard but being on the same roads that the tdf uses made it extra special. The hotel stops were great and living out of my bags was a new experience but made me much more organised and tidy. I knew most of the riders from Mallorca and those I didn't know we soon understood each other on the Cols. The last ride down into Nice was magical fast descent and then the ride along the seafront. I grabbed a beer after a quick swim in the sea then back to the hotel for a well earned shower.

My thanks to SHC and crew for a great week of cycling. I just returned from the Raid Alpine. It was stupendous. The climbs, two to three Cols per day, were awesome; the descents thrilling and never ending. Unbelievable, really. As an example, from the top of the Galibier, we rode 60 kilometres downhill to the Alpe d'Huez climb. I kept looking at my Garmin - 30 kms, then 40, then 50, and finally 60 kms. How does that happen. Who cares; it did and it was so much fun. And, that was only one of many such descents. In fact, if you'd been a kid, with a pocket full of quarters at a Midway amusement fair, where the rides were only a nickle a piece, you would not have had more fun. Exhilarating is insufficient to express the feeling of flying down the Cols to the next climb. If you're thinking about riding the Raid Alpine, do it. The alpine scenery is breathtaking; and, SHC and crew are excellent hosts and guides. Not to be missed.

Stuart, I have to thank all of you at Stuart Hall Cycles for organising and supporting me thoughout the week of the Marmotte. You kept the pressure off the riders and the professional advice in the days before the race was invaluable (you even told me how to breathe). The race day will always be one of the best days of my life and the race went so well. When I came down off the Galibier to find Dave by the van shouting "You did it man, man you did it!" I was sure that I would be a finisher. When I punctured in the last tunnel going down to Bourg, Dave and Ian rocked up to help before I even had the tyre off, it was great. So at 69 I completed my first Marmotte and rode all the way, I have the medal, the long sleeve jersey and the memories! Very many thanks for all the help.

A HUGE thank you for kicking off my training for the Maratona dles Dolomites so effectively. I was coming off zero training with less than 3 months to go. The holiday in Majorca was just what I needed. Friendly, relaxed Stuart Hall team, beautiful routes, great tips from Stuart on cycling technique during rides, fantastic pre-breakfast core sessions...AND...I bought my awesome Cervelo second hand through Stuart, too! I have completely fallen back in love with cycling and can't thank you enough. Chapeau!

Hi Stuart I recently returned from a week cycling with you between 28 April and 5 May 2018 with a group of 10 other friends. This was my second time with SHC and once again it was a great experience from the uplift at the airport, the hotel, cycling, staff and the drop off. The choice of routes and scenery is fantastic. I also had a minor mechanical with my bike, which your staff sorted out in a few minutes. I will be returning in October with my wife and we are both really looking forward to it already. Hi I'd just like to thank everyone at Stuart Hall for helping to give me the best holiday I've had for a long time. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and kind. Despite being a very average cyclist no body made me feel like I was a pain if I was a bit slower than everyone else. Being given encouragement and genuine support meant I succeeded in completing the Sa Calobra which I honestly didn't think I'd manage. All the instructors/mechanics were brilliant and made the holiday. I was also very fortunate in so much as I was lucky enough to be put in a room with Caroline whom hit it off with immediately. We laughed a lot and I made a friend for life. Apart from the ants in the bedroom the hotel was brilliant and food fabulous quality and plenty of it. The staff there are also great. So I'm afraid it's highly likely you'll be seeing me again in October.....!!! Please please pass on my thanks to everyone....and Helen please don't lap me too many times in Richmond Park !!!! Hi Stuart and team Just wanted to say thank you for a great week's training and the best cycling-holiday atmosphere I've ever had. Mallorca is brilliantly set up for cyclists and the hotel was a perfect base for us. I've never seen so many cyclists having breakfast together and the pre-ride and day-after chat was always fun Best of all, the team at Stuart Hall Cycling has restored my faith in cycling holiday companies. I had a horrible experience last year in Tenerife and this year, it was such a relief to find ride leaders who can and do manage their groups effectively on the road. It was also inspiring to ride and chat with Julie, Sophie and Helen. It's great to see more talented women riders on the roads and they reminded me just how much I enjoy the dynamic of a mixed-sex training group. I'm already looking forward to my next trip with Stuart Hall Cycling and in the meantime, I'll be watching out for our Sophie in the Tour de Yorkshire 🙂 Best wishes Jane

Hi Stuart, Sam and Team Thanks all of you for a great holiday. You came highly recommended and you did not disappoint. It was great that you were willing to be flexible with the rides because we were confident we could do the climbs but weren’t sure we would keep up with the faster groups. Very happy that you put on some that suited us as it would have been a shame to miss out on some of the most spectacular scenery. I was very impressed with my brand new Dream hire bike, I wasn’t expecting one of such high spec – no excuse for not making those hills either 😉 Playa Mar hotel was excellent, wide choice of delicious food, not sure how they manage such a range for huge numbers of hungry cyclists day after day; and very friendly service. We’ll be back for more (cycling not just food).

Hello Jenny, Just got home and I have to say it was brilliant. I Loved it. Firstly, the staff at my hotel are all brilliant, always happy to help and very efficient in their work. Secondly, the guides who work for Stuart are brilliant. very knowledgeable. Just to mention a few of them: Gaz, Andy, Julie, Tom and Ben. Stuart and Team Many thanks for an excellent holiday in Majorca. I have been with you before but had a 5 year break due to living away. I am super impressed with the way you have developed in the last 5 years. We had at least 5 rides to choose from each day and body core classes each morning. Large, modern bedrooms and an excellent spa. You have managed to keep the relaxed elements of the business – no need to sign up for a ride, just be at front of hotel at 10am and decide where you want to go, plus great places to stop for a coffee. Whilst also having great organization in the background – mechanic in hotel, notice board with all key information, enough leaders to be able to split big groups, and leaders who really know the lanes of Majorca and support with transfers to airport. We really enjoyed it and will for sure be back, keep up the good work.

Jenny, Please pass on to Stuart and all his staff, thanks and appreciation from myself and the rest of my group. As you know, I brought 16 people out this spring and although many of us were return customers, there were a significant amount who were either, first time to Mallorca or first time with Stuart. It is safe to say that everyone very much enjoyed themselves and I received many positive comments. Over the few years that I have been a customer, there has been a continued subtle but apparent improvement to your operation. Improved website & online communication before the holiday, a move to Playa Mar / Mar senses, a notice board with plenty of information, welcome briefings for new customers, friendly, helpful guides, in house repairs (my thanks to Sean!), massage from the Hillmanator, I could go on..... There is much enthusiasm among those that joined me this time and I am sure this will lead to more return visits! I look forward to joining you all again in the autumn, have a great season!

The food was good, the weather was brilliant compared to the UK (such a relief to be able to cycle in shorts and even a short sleeved top) and your guys took us on some brilliant rides at good speed. Dear Stuart Many thanks for your follow-up email re our Cycling Holiday in October – we were so impressed in April we returned. We had an excellent time which was the consensus of all in our group. In April we stayed in the Mar Senses & this time the Playa de Mar & we were very pleased with the accommodation (although ours was a little tired); the food, was excellent and the staff were pleasant & helpful. Again there was a good range of rides & your leaders were excellent – in fact I have already encouraged two other local clubs I ride with to consider booking with you for their oversees tours. Lorraine, my wife, was particularly pleased with Ivor (after a chat to Helen) who took her, and another woman, who had been doing the steady rides with Sam, on a ‘steady’ Orient ride which they otherwise would not have considered. This was a great highlight for them. We will certainly give very positive feedback on your FB page & on your website. We have now been home for over a week after having had a great ten days cycling in Majorca with Stuart Hall cycling. The hotel, the Playa Mar is very good. The food is excellent and nothing could be too much trouble for the staff. The accommodation is comfortable though the apartments that haven't yet been refurbished have quite tired bathrooms and kitchen areas. We sat in the pool area quite a lot this trip and that was well maintained. There was a good variety of rides each day with a choice of hills and flat rides and varying distances. The ride leaders were excellent as usual though I personally don't like being part of a large group on the small lanes near P. Pollensa. It was always more comfortable and felt safer being part of a smaller group. I appreciated and benefitted from some tips on technique given by ride leaders. Kevin was lucky to be present when there was the chance of doing the lap of the island with some of the ride leaders and other clients. He really enjoyed the experience and benefitted from the support and company of the other riders. I would ( and do) recommend the experience to other riders. We hope to be there again next year! Bev

Hi Everyone at Stuart Hall, Just a short note to say how much I enjoyed the holiday, even though it's taken me a week to recover!​ I rode most days with one of the medium pace groups which seemed to suit my ability and requirements. After 3 fairly long rides I dropped down to Sam's ride for 1 day and appreciated the slightly easier pace. All the leaders were very helpful and road knowledge was excellent. I have been going to Mallorca for the last 10 years and they still managed to find lots of lanes I hadn't come across. The hotel was very good with an excellent choice of food, although taking the bike through the hotel to the room was something new as all other hotels I've stayed at have had secure and equipped underground garages. I wondered how non cycling guests viewed this. All in all, I thought it very well organised and the transfers were very smooth. I'm not sure if you have contacted my room mate, Michael, but if not, I know that he would have similar comments. If our ageing bodies hold up until next October, I'm sure you'll be seeing us again. I just completed the Raid Pyrenees with Stuart Hall Cycling. This was Epic, with a capital 'E'. Yes, no doubt, other tour companies can get you from Hendaye to Cerbere but not likely on the secondary roads, by-ways, lanes, and obscure Cols that only Stuart manages to discover. If you want a memorable adventure and an experience of a life-time, then, Stuart Hall's Raid Pyrenees will deliver in spades. This is no easy ride; and requires one to be in peak aerobic condition, with legs of steel, a resolute mind, and a willing spirit. It's just fabulous, and a worthy goal for any serious cyclist. It's six days of concentrated effort; you'll be tired, yes, but you won't stop smiling.

The Mallorca 312 sportive was an unforgettable experience. Stuart arranged an early morning breakfast for the 312 riders followed by a transfer right to the start line. This meant we didn’t need to hang about on a chilly morning and the event got off to the perfect start. And what an event! Well-marshalled, great organisation and loads of cheering support along the way. The well-stocked food stops meant I arrived back with the energy bars I set out with still in my pockets and the standard of riding was perhaps the best I have experienced in any sportive. Riding through a world heritage centre on silky-smooth closed roads in cycling paradise. What’s not to like? Well, admittedly there’s the monstrous distance – 194 miles and more than 5,000 metres of climbing - but thankfully latching onto a well-organised group helped get me over the line in a decent time and I didn’t have to make use of the out-of-hours hotel buffet Stuart had arranged for us in case of a late finish. Instead there was time for a short jaunt to the famous cyclist’s haunt Tolos, where the Garmin ticked over 200 miles and the draft Estrella provided the perfect recovery aid! Cheers – here’s to the next one!

Stuart, Just a note of thanks from our group of cyclists and non-cyclists for a beautiful few days at your cycling camp. For most it was the first taste of what is on offer in the way of cycling and relaxation in Majorca, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the routes. We both enjoyed the variety of rides and benefitted from the wealth of knowledge that each ride leader has. I just wanted to say thank you for a great week. I didn't do any of the group rides after I came off and bust my shoulder the week before I came out but I loved the fact that all the leaders were still asking how my rides were going, it really made me feel part of the bigger group. Garry even offered to check that I'd put my bike together again safely which was a welcome gesture! I thought advertising the rides the night before was brilliant and would definitely benefit me on future trips.

Amazing week of cycling with 370 miles done in 6 days. I also met so many lovely people. Home to real life tomorrow and many thanks to all at Stuart Hall cycling for the best week yet. Great cycles, great food and super great company. Thanks Stuart Hall - I will be back soon.

As an early birthday present my generous other half gifted me an amazing week cycling with Stuart Hall Cycling in Mallorca last week. Stuart had donated the week to a New Stepping Stones nursery fundraiser. All deserve a mention! I wanted to say that this was an amazing experience with excellent accommodation, food and some very lovely people. The cycling was beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting out on their bike for a few days especially if they are trying to get back some fitness after winter. Tom

Hi Stuart Back home now, just wanted to say thanks for great service. In the past my husband has found transfers the most stressful as always seemed to have issues whoever we used. This is the second time we have used yourselves and we would now never use any other transfer service in Majorca. The ease of booking, reasonable cost and clear instructions for meeting were exceptional. We would both particularly like to praise the driver who picked us up for both transfers, he was professional, polite, prompt and very friendly and courteous-would appreciate if you pass this feedback onto him. Hi Jenny, I just returned from my trip to Majorca having had a great time there. This was the best of the three trips I have made with Stuart Hall and I found the new hotel (Playa Mar) a definite improvement.

Stu, just a quick thank you for another great time cycling in Mallorca. Things were super organised and the crew were friendly and helpful. Also, the rooms in new hotel were spacious and the food was first class. I really appreciate having a choice of rides each morning and also having an opportunity just to do my own thing, if the mood suits. I think Mallorca is so great that I have offered my buddies a money back guarantee. If they don't like cycling in Malloca, I'll reimburse their expenses. Unfortunately, they all still work for a living and don't have the time to get away on a cycling holiday. Still, I'm hopeful I'll have some takers soon. Harold

Jenny, Firstly can I thank you and Stuart for a fantastic 8 days in Majorca. The hotel was great as was the food and the organisation. It was a welcome improvement having the rides posted up the day before, allowing checking of maps and a more informed decision of which ride to go on and as usual the company and leaders were friendly and helpful. So all in all another great week – I’ll be back next year.

Hi Just a quick note to thank you for a great cycling experience with Stuart Hall Cycling. I loved each of the 5 rides that I managed to do (unfortunately around work this time), and when the boss of the enterprise comes back for you on a ride and also changes your inner tube, you know you are on to a good thing. Excellent facilities and really nice staff at the Playa Mar, which makes for a superb base. Please don't change the base for 2017 as my wife has agreed to come out next year. It was certainly worth making the effort to get out to Mallorca following the cancellation of my original flights, and I subsequently produced the best time that I have ever done at my club's sportive on Sunday. Best wishes and good luck for the rest of your Spring season.

What's not to love about a trip to the Pyrenees to watch the Tour come through? I've been to Mallorca with Stu several times over the last five years and had a good idea of what to expect from this holiday. Namely, a well organised trip with a group of like-minded individuals, all with a shared interest of all things bike. We stayed in an authentic French country house on the Tour route from which we made our own forays into the Pyrenees and the cols that awaited us. In the end, we rode 6 of the Tour Pyrenean cols including the Col d’Aspin. If you've never experienced theTour caravan coming over the hill you haven’t lived! Stu provides great and knowledgable guides that look after you on any of the rides you choose to take and at the end of the day you come home to good food and camaraderie at the wonderful base camp. Talk about gear ratios, past glories, or just nonsense, over a local beer or two. Everything is looked after for you; flights, transfers,accommodation. A great way to see, and ride, the Pyrenean stages of theTour.

I just wanted to say thank you again for the great trip I had training with you all in March 2015! On Sunday I raced at Ironman Wales and came first in my age group by over 2hrs which meant I qualified for the world championships next October! Look forward to coming out next year to train with you all for this.

Just a quick note to say thank you to you, Stuart, and all the team at SHC for a wonderful holiday last week. All 23 of us had a fantastic time. The hotel & food couldn’t be faulted, and we enjoyed the variety of organised rides throughout the week. We’d particularly like to thank Joanne, David and Jen who looked after us off the bikes all week and made sure everything was organised when we arrived and were leaving.

I am sending you an email to let you know how much I enjoyed my week in Majorca cycling with Stuart Hall. Cycling with Sam and Bryan’s group each day was brilliant and the guys really looked after me and were wonderful company/ambassadors for your business. The routes they took us, cafes we stopped in and care they took to ensure our safety/enjoyment of the rides each day was great. I really appreciated the small groups we cycled in over the island and the local knowledge of routes etc was brilliant. On my last day they even changed the route plan so that I could achieve another climb ride which the steady group don’t usually do. The rental bike I had was excellent as well. Have been telling all my friends what a great time we had – down to the friendliness of the airport transfer and everything. Top marks Stuart Hall.

Had a great week over Easter in Majorca with all the gang. There were 10 in total and have all promised to come back again. Just like to say thanks to all the crew especially Andy and Jo who I spent most of the days cycling with but others were also complimentary about their respective guides!

Just want to thank you and Stuart for a super trip yet again, they get better each year. You were so helpful with dealing with all the details and I’d like to pay a special thank you to Jo as she was brilliant filling in for Stuart. She could not be more helpful, friendly and great fun. I’d also like to thank David and his wife for same as they could not be faulted for anything and our Dermot was well impressed by David’s wife (sorry I never got her name) for getting up at 4 am to make sure he got picked up for the airport. And I’d like to thank Sean for sorting us all out with the bikes and doing a super job, really nice guy cheers. And not forgetting the guides Matt and G and of course both Jacks and anyone I forgot to thank… Jenny if you could pass this on to all above from me

Just wanted to say this trip was a baptism of fire for me as I only took up the cycling thing in February, that said it was a fantastic holiday and I had brilliant time whilst learning many new things about group riding and hill climbing. I definitely have the bug, thank you for a great time, especially to Sam (catweazel) who made me feel welcome and gave me confidence.

I just wanted to say a big thank you from all of us at Berwick Wheelers who stayed with your team last week. The hotel, the staff and support we received during our stay was excellent, in fact it was superb, please pass on our gratitude to the on site team, they really were that good! We very much hope to reacquaint ourselves with Stuart Hall cycling in Mallorca next year and hope you will keep us informed of any early bird offers etc.

Just a few words to say a big thank you for the 9 days, probably the best 9 days concurrent cycling I have ever done. The weather helped, the company certainly did, and the roads and routes were superb.

Just a short email to say a big thanks for a great week in the Mallorca, sorry we took the weather back to the UK :). The transfers were bang on, the Pollenca Park as good as ever and nice to have all the reservations made for us. Our stats for the week were 528 miles and just over 9,000 metres of ascent.

Graeme and myself are definitely coming next year we hope to bring a bigger group with us this time.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks very much for a fantastic week of riding, and for the help and advice from you and your guys. Since you were all so indulgent, thought you might like to know that the training and the advice both really helped me out in my race yesterday – in particular, I kept in mind everything you told me about getting up hills (each time I went up the nasty little hill) and tried out some advice Rhys gave me about moving the bike around more when I’m out of the saddle. Anyway, it all must have helped because I came third in the all cats race 🙂

I hope your Tour watching trip is going well. Huge thanks for a great trip the other week – both Ian and I really enjoyed it. So much so, that I am thinking of coming back out to the Alps in late August to do the Les Deux Alps version (TT and Granfondo on 24/25th).

Just wanted to say thanks for a great holiday, the cycling was as good as you said it would be and the choice of hotel was brilliant. Sandra would also like to say a big thanks for looking after her, the whole trip met her expectations and more, especially the banter.

We would like to say thanks a million for a fabulous week in Majorca, the whole trip was spectacular, the transfers worked well, the hotel was lovely, the buffets were bountiful, your team of riders were funny, supportive and impressively fit. It’s sad being back to the cold sun-restricted hours which limit cycle time, without the coffee, orange and almond cake stops. We hope you are all keeping well; you have given us many happy memories and opened our eyes to a new future for cycle training. Best wishes and happy riding til the next time!
