What a fantastic cycling trip!

The accommodation was perfect – a lovely family-run hotel, which the Italians appear to do especially well (the place we go to with my bike club in Cesenatico is similar). The food was fantastic and Covid-19 awareness/adherence within the hotel was as a good as it could be. The scenery was stunning!

The group of customers were great and we all seemed to get along, but the guidance/support from Stuart Hall Cycling was simply excellent. Ian was great (as usual) and was always there when you needed him. Aaron was a welcome bundle of young energy and I think that everyone enjoyed his presence/support. Ed was simply outstanding. He really was. He guided and marshalled everyone in a very effective way throughout the trip, but also carried out repairs on quite a number of bikes (mine included). Nothing was too much trouble for him and he carried everything off with unassuming good grace. You have a real star on your hands.

Personally, I would probably have enjoyed the end of several of the harder rides a little bit more had I been lighter and fitter, but to get away on a cycling trip in the current circumstances was amazing, so thanks very much to the both of you.
