The Coronavirus, Covid 19, has caused massive uncertainty for the travel industry and for anyone wanting to book a holiday. We have created this page to provide as much transparency and reassurance as we can.
As a family enterprise, treating our customers fairly is the foundation of our business and our reputation. For the two years from March 2020 until March 2022, while there was a seemingly never-ending range of travel restrictions and quarantine requirements in place, we regarded it as non-negotiable to refund in full anyone who was unable to travel due to Covid and wanted a refund.
The result has been a huge amount of positive feedback and support from customers who appreciated how easy we made the refund process, and the comfort it gave them to book a holiday. Scroll down to see some of the lovely messages we received in 2020 – they really kept our spirits up at what was a very testing time!
Now that travel is normalising and countries are removing Covid restrictions, we are returning back to our normal booking terms and conditions
2022 Cycling Holidays
We are excited to offer our full range of cycling holidays this year, starting with Mallorca from January – May, our trips in France and Italy over the summer, and then Mallorca in the Autumn and Winter. There are a number of Covid measures in place at the hotels to minimise the risk of transmission of the virus, and we follow government guidelines and requirements at all times to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
Mallorca Covid Requirements
The situation on the ground in Mallorca is pretty much normal and there are no Covid restrictions that should interfere with your holiday. You should bring a mask as they are still required in some buildings and health centres, as well as on the plane. You can use a reusable or disposable mask.
For many countries, if you are fully vaccinated there are no longer any forms or testing needed to travel to Mallorca. If you do need the Spanish passenger locator form, it is available here: https://www.spth.gob.es/. Vaccine and testing requirements continue to evolve and change, so we strongly recommend that you check the latest guidance on your government website before travelling. It’s not possible to provide a full list of the requirements for all our customers here since we have people from all over the world and different countries are changing their guidance on a regular basis, but if you’re not sure of the rules for your trip, then please contact us and we’ll do our best to find out!
https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/entry-requirements is the link to the UK site for travel to Spain and you can sign up for alerts when things change.
If you are travelling to Mallorca from the UK, please note that you must be fully vaccinated or have proof of having recovered from Covid in the prior 6 months. Proof of a negative test is not accepted. And if you had your second jab more than 270 days before travelling, then you must have proof of having received your booster jab.
Once you are in Mallorca, if you need an antigen or PCR test to return home, these are very easy and relatively inexpensive to book through the hotel or in a nearby testing centre. Any such tests can be organised once you have arrived in Mallorca, you don’t need to do it beforehand.
UK Passport Requirements
For those travelling from the UK to the EU, there have also been changes to passport requirements. To be valid for travel, your passport must meet two requirements:
less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the ‘date of issue’)
valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
For some EU countries your passport may need to be less than 10 years old during your whole visit, and the 3 months at the end of your visit may need to be within 10 years of your passport’s issue date.
Check both the issue date and the expiry date in your passport. If you renewed your passport early, extra months may have been added to its expiry date. This could affect the requirement for your passport to be less than 10 years old.

I just wanted to say thank you for the refund for our cancelled trip to Mallorca. We have been trying to recover the monies via our insurance policies but have been experiencing a negative response. We are, therefore, very appreciative of your understanding despite the obvious financial implications for your company.
