The Coronavirus, Covid 19, is causing massive uncertainty for the travel industry and for anyone wanting to book a holiday. We have created this page to provide as much transparency and reassurance as we can.
As a family enterprise, treating our customers fairly is the foundation of our business and our reputation. We have regarded it as non-negotiable to refund everyone who has wanted a refund in full, and we commit to continuing to do so.
We also wanted to highlight the heart-warming feedback we have had from customers who were supposed to be cycling with us in Mallorca this year. Scroll down to see some of the lovely messages we have received. They have really kept our spirits up at this testing time!
Our Refund Promise
If Coronavirus means your trip is cancelled or you are unable to travel due to Covid-related restrictions, we will give you your choice of a full refund or credit, no questions asked.
So if you are mulling over the idea of booking a cycling trip with us for 2021, you can book without worrying what happens if it cannot go ahead.
The one exception is third party event entries where we are beholden to the decision of the organisers regarding entry fee refunds. For trips including entry to an event, we will credit or refund the balance minus the deposit; we are only able to credit or refund deposits for those trips in line with what the event organisers decide to do since the deposit covers the event entry fee.
2021 Cycling Holidays
Our guides are in Mallorca and our cycling camps will be going ahead throughout the spring, autumn and winter for anyone who is keen and able to come. There are a number of Covid measures in place at the hotels to minimise the risk of transmission of the virus, and we follow government guidelines and requirements at all times.
So if you’re keen on a cycling holiday in Mallorca, please join us!
We also have a Land’s End to John O’Groats trip in August and trips to the Alps and Pyrenees in September, by which time hopefully travel is getting back to normal. However, our Covid refund guarantee remains in place, so if Covid does mean that you trip is unable to go ahead or you are prevented from travelling, then we’ll offer you a full refund of everything you’ve paid us.
Despite Covid and all the various travel restrictions, we managed to run a few fantastic trips in 2020, including a couple by request.
In August, nine people successfully completed the nearly 1000 mile route from Land’s End to John O’Groats, while in September another group cycled Coast to Coast across the North of England through the Lake District, North Pennines and North York Moors. We were also delighted to be able to organise a hugely memorable trip for sixteen people to the Dolomites in Italy in early September, and a fourth group did a tour of North Wales. Our Mallora camp also went ahead in October, and those able to come despite the quarantines on return home were treated to stunning weather and the quietest roads we’ve ever seen!

We were entered into a Birmingham – Cov veto event and paid c55 each – they cancelled and did not refund a penny! Never book with them again!

I just wanted to say thank you for the refund for our cancelled trip to Mallorca. We have been trying to recover the monies via our insurance policies but have been experiencing a negative response. We are, therefore, very appreciative of your understanding despite the obvious financial implications for your company. Your cycle holidays are a unique experience and will be welcome change from the isolation that we are currently experiencing once a vaccine or a viable means of managing the virus have been found.

Cycling in Mallorca with Stuart has been my little bit of heaven for the last 5 years or so . I still have fingers crossed that my trip will go ahead on 25th April but if it doesn’t we will of course be happy to transfer to another date.
